As with most independent brokers AH&T receives most of its revenue from commissions paid by the insurance company from policy premiums.

Those commissions will usually average 11% of the total premium for your account, but vary policy-by-policy. Regardless, AH&T does not make recommendations based on any variation in commission between competing proposals. It simply isn't our style. Our long-term success comes from keeping our clients through fair, honest, hard work by educated professionals. We will always discuss with you the commission level on ANY policy, and we work on a negotiated fee basis with many clients and take 0% commission from whatever insurance policies are needed.

Your service team is compensated to retain your account by maintaining your satisfaction. The bulk of an account executive's income comes from renewing his/her clients. We're open about it - we think you'll get better service and we'll have a more successful business if the people you depend on are compensated to keep you happy.
